Rules
Play fair. Protect the story.
A short set of rules that keeps LucidRP fair, immersive and enjoyable for everyone. When in doubt, ask staff before you act.
Draft. These rules are a working draft and will be finalised by staff before launch.

Community conduct
Respect every player
Harassment, discrimination and personal attacks are never acceptable, in character or out. Conflict belongs to characters, not people.
Follow staff decisions
Comply with staff in the moment, then raise disagreements through the appeal process. Arguing a ruling mid-scene stops the story for everyone.
Report, don't retaliate
If someone breaks the rules, record it and report it. Breaking rules in response only creates a second problem.
Roleplay standards
Stay in character
Keep out-of-character talk to a minimum while in the world. If it's needed, keep it brief and use the designated channels.
No metagaming
Your character only knows what they have learned in character. Information from streams, Discord or friends cannot be used in roleplay.
No powergaming
Don't force outcomes on other players or act out the impossible. Give others a fair chance to respond to what your character does.
Value your character's life
Act as a real person would when threatened. Fear, caution and consequences are what make scenes meaningful.
Respect continuity
What happened, happened. Characters carry their history, relationships and reputations forward from scene to scene.
