Welcome to LucidRP. These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the LucidRP website, forums, FiveM roleplay server, store, and related community services. By creating an account, accessing our services, or participating in our community, you agree to these terms.

If you do not agree to these terms, you must discontinue use of our services.

1. About LucidRP

LucidRP is a community-driven roleplay project built around immersive storytelling, serious roleplay, and a high-quality multiplayer experience.

These terms apply to all users, including website visitors, registered members, players, applicants, content creators, and individuals purchasing products or services through our store.

2. Accounts & Security

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for activity conducted through it.

• You must provide accurate information when creating or managing your account.

• You must not impersonate another user, member of staff, public figure, or organization.

• You must not share, sell, transfer, or misuse your account.

• You must notify our staff if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

• You must not create additional accounts to evade restrictions, bans, or other moderation decisions.

LucidRP reserves the right to restrict or suspend accounts where there are reasonable grounds to suspect abuse, fraud, security risks, or violations of these terms.

3. Community Conduct

All members are expected to treat others with respect and contribute to a safe, constructive community.

The following conduct is prohibited across our website, forums, Discord, game server, and other official community channels:

• Harassment, targeted abuse, threats, or intimidation.

• Hate speech or discriminatory conduct.

• Doxxing or sharing private information without authorization.

• Scamming, fraud, impersonation, or deceptive activity.

• Spam, malicious links, phishing, or unauthorized advertising.

• Exploiting bugs, abusing platform features, or interfering with services.

• Circumventing moderation actions or encouraging others to do so.

• Posting unlawful, harmful, or otherwise prohibited content.

Staff may remove content and take appropriate action when behavior violates these terms or applicable community rules.

4. Serious Roleplay Standards

Participation in the LucidRP FiveM server requires compliance with our separate server rules and roleplay guidelines.

Players are expected to maintain appropriate in-character and out-of-character boundaries, respect other participants, and contribute to meaningful roleplay.

Unacceptable behavior may include metagaming, powergaming, combat logging, exploiting, cheating, harassment, or deliberately disrupting roleplay, as defined by our server rules.

In-character conflicts do not justify out-of-character harassment, threats, discrimination, or retaliation.

LucidRP may investigate reported incidents and apply moderation measures in accordance with the severity of the conduct and the applicable rules.

5. User-Generated Content

You retain ownership of content you create, to the extent that you own the applicable rights.

By submitting or publishing content through LucidRP, including forum posts, screenshots, videos, character stories, and other contributions, you grant LucidRP a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, and distribute that content as reasonably necessary to operate, promote, and maintain the community.

This permission does not transfer ownership of your content to LucidRP.

You are responsible for ensuring that content you submit does not infringe another person's rights, violate applicable law, or breach these terms.

LucidRP may remove, restrict, or moderate content that violates these terms or our community rules.

6. Website, Forums & Community Services

Our website and forums provide access to community discussions, announcements, applications, support services, moderation systems, and other features.

You agree not to:

• Exploit vulnerabilities or attempt unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or restricted areas.

• Disrupt website functionality or interfere with other users' access.

• Use automated tools to scrape, spam, or abuse our services without authorization.

• Submit false reports, fraudulent applications, or intentionally misleading information.

• Attempt to bypass access controls or obtain confidential staff information.

We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue features where reasonably necessary for maintenance, security, development, or operational reasons.

7. Store, Purchases & Digital Products

LucidRP may offer digital products, in-game benefits, supporter packages, or other items through its official store.

Before completing a purchase, you are responsible for reviewing the applicable product description, price, and purchase conditions.

Unless otherwise stated, digital products and benefits are intended for use within the LucidRP community and are subject to applicable game-platform policies.

• Purchases do not grant ownership of LucidRP, its intellectual property, or the underlying game.

• In-game benefits may be adjusted when reasonably necessary for balance, technical compatibility, security, or compliance with platform requirements.

• Benefits may be restricted or removed where necessary following fraud, chargeback abuse, or a substantiated violation of these terms.

• Refund requests will be assessed in accordance with the applicable purchase terms and mandatory consumer protection laws.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits statutory rights that cannot legally be excluded, including applicable cancellation, refund, and consumer protection rights.

Any recurring payments or subscriptions must be clearly disclosed before purchase, including the applicable price and renewal conditions.

8. Fair Play, Cheating & Exploitation

The use of cheats, unauthorized exploits, malicious software, or tools intended to gain an unfair advantage is prohibited.

Players must not intentionally abuse bugs, duplicate items through exploits, manipulate in-game economies, or interfere with the integrity of the server.

Any suspected exploit should be reported through the appropriate support channel rather than deliberately abused.

LucidRP may investigate suspicious activity and apply proportionate restrictions or other enforcement measures where violations are established.

9. Moderation & Enforcement

LucidRP aims to maintain a fair and consistent moderation process. Depending on the circumstances, violations may result in:

• A warning or formal notice.

• Removal of content or restricted posting privileges.

• Temporary suspension from community services.

• Temporary or permanent removal from the FiveM server.

• Account suspension or termination.

• Removal of access to specific features or community areas.

The severity of the violation, its impact, previous conduct, and any relevant evidence may be considered when determining an appropriate response.

Where appropriate, users may appeal moderation decisions through the designated support or appeals process. Submitting an appeal does not guarantee that a decision will be reversed.

10. Intellectual Property

LucidRP's original branding, website design, custom software, original graphics, and other materials are owned by LucidRP or their respective rights holders, unless otherwise stated.

You may not copy, redistribute, sell, or commercially exploit LucidRP-owned materials without prior authorization, except where permitted by applicable law.

Third-party trademarks, games, assets, and materials remain the property of their respective owners and may be subject to separate terms and restrictions.

11. Third-Party Services

LucidRP may integrate or link to third-party platforms and services, including FiveM, Discord, payment providers, and other external websites.

These services are governed by their own terms, policies, and privacy practices. LucidRP does not control third-party services and is not responsible for their independent operations.

You are responsible for complying with the terms applicable to any third-party service you use.

12. Service Availability & Changes

We aim to maintain reliable services but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability.

Maintenance, updates, technical failures, security incidents, third-party outages, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control may affect access to the website or server.

LucidRP may introduce new features, modify existing systems, or discontinue features as the project develops. We will make reasonable efforts to communicate significant changes where appropriate.

13. Privacy & Data

LucidRP may process information necessary to operate accounts, provide services, maintain security, administer purchases, and moderate the community.

Personal information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws.

You should not publish sensitive personal information through public forums or community channels.

14. Disclaimers & Liability

LucidRP is provided on an evolving, community-operated basis. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we do not guarantee that every feature will always be available, error-free, or uninterrupted.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits mandatory consumer rights.

Any limitation of liability shall apply only to the extent permitted by applicable law and shall not override mandatory legal protections.

15. Suspension & Termination

You may stop using LucidRP at any time.

LucidRP may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary due to violations of these terms, security concerns, unlawful activity, fraud, or other legitimate operational reasons.

Where appropriate and legally required, we will provide information about the decision and available appeal options.

Termination of an account does not automatically remove obligations or rights that arose before termination. Any consequences for previous purchases remain subject to applicable purchase conditions and mandatory law.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms of Service to reflect changes to our services, community rules, legal requirements, or operational practices.

The latest version will be published on this page with an updated revision date. Where required, we will provide notice or obtain renewed consent before material changes take effect.

Your continued use of LucidRP after changes become effective constitutes acceptance only to the extent permitted by applicable law.

17. Governing Law & Disputes

These terms are subject to applicable law. Where LucidRP is operated from Norway, Norwegian law may apply, subject to mandatory protections available to consumers under the laws that apply to them.

Disputes should first be raised through our official support channels where appropriate. Nothing in this section removes any mandatory right to pursue a complaint or legal remedy through a competent authority or court.
